While stationed in Germany with the military I was privileged to experience some of the fine treasures of Europe.  A particular treasure and special moment for me was the introduction to Goufrais at a small vendor kiosk at the base shopping center.  A German husband and wife team provided samples to the passing military shoppers.  Their Goufrais taster simply stopped me in my tracks, and I’m not a chocoholic!  Thus began a love affair that would survive an Atlantic Ocean crossing.  In 2011 on a return visit to Germany, I inquired to the German company about their American importers.  They didn’t have an existing importer at that time and Goufrais was not available for purchase in the U.S.  I decided to change that in 2012.

It is my distinct pleasure to present Goufrais “the cool treat” to the United States and build Team Goufrais USA.  Please welcome this savory treat to your home and gatherings.  I highly recommend a Red Wine pairing!
